December , 2011....Swimming

We now understand why everyone told us we HAVE to have a pool in our yard. It is just HOT and the pool is so so nice. We are in it at least once a day and our little kiddos are growing fins and gills!

A few photos of our little fish...

  1. These are the coolest pictures, Carolyn. You'll make many memories of fun in the pool. We have had many happy family BBQs and birthday parties with Rob and his friends and now our grandchildren on the patio - memories we'll treasure forever. I remember walking home years ago from the nearby mall one extremely hot summer day, going immediately into the back yard and plunging into the pool feel first to Rob and his friend's amazement. When we first moved to London in 1987 - if memory serves me right you were here at one time with the family ?? - we thought we were in heaven with our little pool in the backyard - so anxious to get it open that first year that Uncle B started the process late April - there were what appeared to be spots on the pool liner in the deep end so Uncle B donned his scuba gear and armed with steel wood (not a good idea !) attempted to clean off the spots, realizing rather quickly that the steel wool mixing with chlorine caused little rust particles - so he got his fishing pole, attached a magnet to it and retrieved the floating particles from the pool - I really should have taken a picture - xx
